2004 Elderton "Tantalus" Shiraz Cabernet Malbec
  SOUTH AUSTRALIA

Continuous September Release   Shiraz

  Tasting Notes

This is the eighth release of the “Tantalus” Red, a blend of 51% Shiraz, 28% Cabernet and 21% Malbec. For those into Greek mythology, Tantalus was punished for offending the Gods, by being kept perpetually thirsty and hungry but tantalised by water and fruit that he could see but not quite reach! Wonderfully approachable in style with flavors of red and black berries in abundance, with hints of pepper, spice and mocha. Delicious drinking at a price that is well within your reach. Ideal for BBQ’s, pizza, pasta or whatever tantalizes you at the time.
