  Tasting Notes

“The Mayflower” is named after a ship that went to ground in the rugged waters of Flinders Bay, an hour or so south of the township of Margaret River in Western Australia. It is a wonderfully distinctive wine, made predominantly from Malbec (60%) with Merlot (40%) adding to its lush, mouth filling character. Delicious dark fruit notes are enhanced by softer red fruit notes. Hints of exotic spices and mocha add to the wines appeal. Left in the glass for a few minutes, all these berry aromas leap from the glass. A truly delicious wine.
