Print this Wine         2004 Pikes "Luccio" Red Blend (Sang/Merlot/Cab)   CLARE VALLEY/SOUTH AUSTRALIA                 18/05/2006 Release   Bordeaux Blends       This is one of those quirky blends that provides immediate enjoyment. Neil Pike has created “Luccio” (which is the Italian word for Pike!!) from 20% Merlot, 10% Cabernet and 70% Sangiovese. All from the Pike family’s Polish Hill River Estate in the heart of the Clare Valley. Deep bright red in color, the wine is loaded with beautiful cherry and plum fruit, with subtle hints of spice and pepper.
