2003 Frankland Estate "Isolation Ridge" Chardonnay
  FRANKLAND, GREAT SOUTHERN/WEST AUSTRALIA

Good January Release   Chardonnay

  Tasting Notes

This wine is a beauty! The Chardonnay grapes come from Mendoza Clone vines, planted on Frankland’s “Isolation Ridge” Vineyard, a very remote, yet pristine and appropriately cool climate environment. The wine has beautifully rich yet elegant fruit characters, with hints of earth, fine spice and nutty notes courtesy of barrel fermentation and modest lees stirring. Great balance and poise, with bright fruit lingering long after the last sip. If you are a Chardonnay lover, this wine is sure to please.
