Print this Wine         2001 Elderton "Ashmead" Cabernet Sauvignon (6.0L)   NURIOOTPA, BAROSSA VALLEY/SOUTH AUSTRALIA                 January Release Case Size: 1/6.0L Cabernet Sauvignon       This is the 4th release of this blockbuster Cabernet Sauvignon, with fruit sourced off the "Ashmead" block of vines planted back in 1944 on the Elderton Estate. The block only yields 2-3 tons per hectare, which explains the extraordinary concentration of flavor the wine delivers. Dark, rich ripe characters of plum and berry mingle with exotic spice nuances.
