The 2002 Syrah Piggott Range exhibits a black/ruby/purple color in addition to aromas of melted tar intermixed with roasting spices, blackberry liqueur, and earth. Enormously-endowed, thick, and multi-layered with its oak aging concealed by sumptuous extract and glycerin, and a finish that lasts for 65+ seconds, this is a magnificent wine to drink between 2008-2025.
