Print this Wine         1999 Pikes Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon   CLARE VALLEY/SOUTH AUSTRALIA                 November Release Case Size: 6/750ml Cabernet Sauvignon       Neil Pike only releases a Reserve wine from a vintage that delivers fruit of exceptional quality. '99 was a relatively warm year, producing Cabernet of extraordinary intense and dark berry fruit characters. Secondary notes of mocha, even chocolate add to the wines density. The finish just keeps on going, aided by wonderfully fine but resilient tannins. This is a keeper.
