Print this Wine         2001 Elderton "Friends" Shiraz   BAROSSA VALLEY                 January Release   Shiraz       Whilst still being unmistakedly Barossa Valley in its origin this wine is just a little softer and fruitier than the traditional Elderton label. The fruit is plums and a mixture of berries. There is a little smoky oak which gives the wine a touch of complexity. In the mouth the wine is very juicy and the finish lingers on with some softish tannins and good acid.
