Print this Wine         2001 Clarendon Hills "Brookmans" Merlot   CLARENDON                 January Release Case Size: 12/750ml Merlot       The colour is excellent, with deep crimson mauve purple complexion. The nose is very Bordeaux like, validating Roman’s view point. Superb aroma of violets, mulberry, blueberry, cedar, truffle and earth. The structure is elegant and refined, yet packed with ripe fruit. Layers of mulberry and spice are interlaced with plums, cedar and truffle. Fine grained tannins, excellent balance, followed by a very long, plum, mulberry and spice aftertaste.
