Print this Wine         2002 Pikes Sauvignon Blanc (70%) Semillon (30%)   CLARE VALLEY                 March Release   Sauvignon Blanc       Here is a fresh and lively wine that avoids excessive vegetable character that frequently plagues straight Sauvignon Blanc. The inclusion of Semillon into the blend is the key. There is some typical grassy and bean flavours but they are modified with a hint of honey and citrus overtones. The finish is steely dry with plenty of acid.
