  Tasting Notes

The third vintage of this great Rhone inspired blend. 55% Shiraz, 32% Grenache, 13% Mourvedre The wines medium purple red color is matched by aromas of black pepper, fennel and earth on the nose. You pick of slight oak characters, which is amazing given that the wines spends 12 months in old French barriques.
The palate delivers even more with spicy red and black fruits in abundance. Beautifully integrated flavors with smooth tannins adding to the persistence on the finish. This wine is destined to thrill for years to come, that is if you can hang onto a bottle.
At least 5 to 8 years to go. In the meantime, pop a bottle to accompany braised meats, or even Peking Duck.
