Print this Wine         2000 Hewitson "Barossa Valley" Shiraz   TANUNDA, BAROSSA VALLEY                 March Release   Shiraz       The 2nd in Dean’s duo of 100% Shiraz. The Barossa exhibits beautiful deep dark red hues, almost impenetrable. Lifted aromas of black and red currants waft from the glass, with hints of dry spices such as cinnamon. On the palate it all comes together. Well-defined fruit flavors mingle with great secondary spice and black pepper characters. It has all the intensity of flavor you would expect from the Barossa, but with more charm and finesse than most.
