The key element in any example of Viognier is apricot fruit flavours. This wine has that in abundance. In addition there is a spicy lift with ginger and musk.
This wine offers wonderful structure and mouth-feel with great intensity. Here the effects of barrel fermentation and the regular agitation of the lees sediment are really felt. There is a nutty, oatmeal overtone which gives the wine great texture.
