Print this Wine         1994 Craiglee Chardonnay   SUNBURY                 Current Release   Chardonnay       This is not your typical Aussie Chardonnay. This wines cool climate origins are revealed immediately on the nose, by the delicate melon, peach ever so subtle cheesy notes. On the palate all these flavours carry through with added interest supplied by elegant leesy characters, and subtle hints of French oak. This wine is more Mersault/Chablis-esque that most Aussie Chardonnay’s. Pat Carmody believes in a lees stirring regime, little new oak, and 0% malo, to achieve this elegant yet intensely flavoured wine. It has years ahead of it, for those who can wait!!
