Print this Wine         2001 Flinders Bay "Pericles" (Sauvignon Blanc/Semillon)   MARGARET RIVER                 January Release   Sauvignon Blanc       All the fruit for this racy wine (fermented in steel of course!!) comes off the Flinders Bay Vineyard at Karridale, just south of the town of Margaret River. A blend of 53% Sauvignon Blanc and 47% Semillon, this wine offers immediate enjoyment!! Wonderfully vibrant lime, apple and melon characters marry with hay, straw, mineral and chalk notes. There is a lot going on in this wine. Hints of tropical fruit fill out the mid-palate, making it all the more delicious. The finish lingers on with generous acidity carrying the flavors.
