Print this Wine         1999 Clarendon Hills "Blewitt Springs" Grenache   CLARENDON                 January Release   Grenache       This is always the most expressive and decadent of the single vineyard Grenache wines from Clarendon Hills. Dense raspberry, strawberry and plum liqueur are wound up in a package of exotic spices and fragrances. This is an amazing super-concentrated wine, with so much going on, and evolving every sip you take. Hints of grainy oak linger in the background, but given the predominance of old oak its there to add character rather than to overwhelm to exotic fruit.
