Print this Wine         2001 Mount Horrocks Dry Riesling   WATERVALE, CLARE VALLEY                 January Release   Riesling       This the 3rd release of Stephanie Toole’s dry Riesling in the USA. Small production with generous flavors. Very pale lemon gold in color, the wine oozes citrus notes, such as orange peel, lime, lemon and pineapple. You pick up nice mineral nuances also, with a chalky like texture The wine is bone dry with a lovely crisp almost flinty finish. The finish is crisp and flinty, and very long. The wine will age well for at least 8 to 10 years and maybe more. With such generous and well defined acidity, this wine is the perfect foil to any food with a bit of “bite” be it Asian, or Southern USA cuisine.
