This labor intensive technique, where every second cordon or cane is cut, delivers a dessert wine with freakish balance Rich gold in color, the wine really looks luscious. Highly aromatic with hints of apricot, pineapple, toffee and fine citrus characters. The wine coats your tongue like honey, such is its lush, viscous character. All that confronts you on the nose is there on the palate, with even more fruit nuances such as orange and mango. The generous acidity gives the wine a lovely vibrancy and ensures a long lush finish.
