It’s cool climate origins manifest in the spice and pepper, and smoked meat characters evident, both on the nose and palate. There is plenty going on in the wine to intrigue even the most studied palate. Spice, mineral, cedar, both red and black fruits. All in moderation to create a seamless and long finish. The wine is youthful now, so enjoy its freshness. In a few years it will provide even greater enjoyment as it evolves into an even more cohesive package. I can’t wait.
