  Tasting Notes

This is a superb Rose, offering just so much character, it hard to fathom how Gary Farr conjured this up. Made from the free run juice of both Pinot Noir and Shiraz (Gary never reveals its composition), the nose offers both elements of light and darkness. High tone cherry, spicy red currant characters mingle with hints of black fruits. Notes of earth and minerals add to its appeal.
On the palate the wines offers layer upon layer of berry nuances, and leesy, earthy flavors. Long on the finish, with well managed acid.
An incredibly versatile food wine. Barbecued prawns or calamari, grilled fish or chicken. Dishes with Asian nuances, will all work.
