Print this Wine         2005 The Old Faithful Mourvedre Single Vineyard   MCLAREN VALE/SOUTH AUSTRALIA                 June Release Case Size: 12/750ml Mourvedre       The fruit for this intensely flavored Mourvedre comes off a block of 60+ year old vines which were planted on the site of an old almond grove. The block is situated on alluvial soils in the Willunga foothills and has an East-West orientation. The color of the wine is a freakishly dense deep purple, with hints of black and blue.
