Print this Wine         2006 Rutherglen Estates "The Alliance" Marsanne Viognier   RUTHERGLEN/VICTORIA                 July Release Case Size: 12/750ml Marsanne Viognier       “The Alliance” is a blend of 70% Marsanne and 30% Viognier that is a perfect union of varieties that share a common heritage and show a natural affinity for each other. All the fruit is sourced from Rutherglen Estates hillside vineyards. Marsanne provides the fresh, fruity and citrus backbone of the wine, with Viognier adding richness and intensity to both the palate and the nose. Lemon butter, flint and mineral notes are complemented by white blossom and honeysuckle, and some apricot kernel characters.
