This is one of the most distinctive dessert wines from Australia. Joe and Dina Grilli have crafted this wine from 85% Riesling and 15% Traminer. It is a match made in heaven. The Eden Valley sourced botrytised Riesling grapes deliver a basket of dried summer fruits: figs, peaches, apricots, drizzled with honey. The Traminer gives the wine a magical spicy lift. The wine is intensely flavored, lush yet wonderfully fresh. Serve chilled with fruit based desserts, mango or citrus are just ideal, or soft cheeses like ricotta and gorgonzola. Imagine this wine in 15 years time - which is how long we believe it can be cellared. La Magia! The ‘magic’ of botrytis. |
