Intense pear and apricot aromas offer resiny depth, but are simultaneously lifted by a bright overlay of white pepper. Zesty orchard and pit fruit flavors are strikingly pure and deep, with good acid lift on the close. Gains weight with air, finishing juicy and long, with an echo of ripe pear. In cordon cutting, ripe bunches of grapes are cut from the vine, but left hanging on the trellis to concentrate the sweet juice by part-drying.
